How do I create and publish an event?
  1. Sign in as an admin with event management permission.
  2. Open Create event and save the event as a draft.
  3. Add category, price, capacity, distance, and default wave/start group.
  4. Add active registration consent, privacy policy, terms wording, and waiver wording.
  5. Publish only after checking the public event page.
How do I remove an event from public registration?
  1. Open Admin > Events.
  2. Select the event and open its edit screen.
  3. Use Unpublish event when you want to hide it temporarily and keep the setup editable.
  4. Use Archive event when the event is retired and should no longer accept public entries.
  5. Confirm the action only when you are sure public entries should stop.
How do I share a registration link for a customer event?
  1. Open Admin > Events.
  2. Find the event and confirm its status is Published.
  3. Use Copy registration link beside the event, or open the event edit screen and copy the Customer registration link.
  4. Send that link to the customer or add it to their upcoming-events page.
  5. If the copy button is disabled, finish category, consent, waiver, and publish readiness first.
How do I find a participant?
  1. Open Admin > Participants.
  2. Search by event, name, email, or club.
  3. Open the registration detail link for the correct participant.
  4. Review registration, payment, and race-day fields before making changes.
How do I update bib, chip, or wave details?
  1. Open the participant registration detail page.
  2. Edit bib number, chip number, wave/start group, or race-day status.
  3. Save the race-day assignment.
  4. Refresh or reopen the registration detail to verify the values persisted.
How do I auto-assign bibs, chips, and waves?
  1. Open Admin > Exports.
  2. Select the event with confirmed registrations.
  3. Enter a starting bib number and optional bib or chip prefix.
  4. Leave chip and wave assignment ticked unless you need a narrower run.
  5. Do not tick overwrite unless you deliberately want to replace manual assignments.
  6. Run auto-assignment, then download CSV or XLSX and inspect the output.
How should UAT feedback be collected?
  1. Give each tester one script from docs/testing/uat-user-test-scripts.md.
  2. Ask testers to use synthetic participant data only.
  3. Record each finding in docs/testing/uat-feedback-log-template.md.
  4. Treat payment, consent, waiver, permissions, sensitive data, and export issues as launch-impacting until reviewed.
